The thing I been dreading the most, happened. My little Chihuahua has been sick for quite a while and he passed away last night. I kept checking on him during the night and he was still alive at 3 Am, but when I got up this morning he was gone. He has  been with me for 16 yrs. and has been my best little companion after I lost his grandpa, daddy, momma and little sister a few yrs back.  Now the house feels so empty and I am soooo sad, but I know he is in a better place where he doesn't have any more pain.

Tree needs decorating

even if it's small.

All around the house

lights are hung with care

baking cakes and cookies

for everyone to share.

Songs of peace and hope

are playing all around, since

it's time to gather once again

with family and friends.

Christmas time is here again

to celebrate with joy
